WELCOME TO ICASTIA 2018

2018 International Conference on Advanced Science, Technology and Its Applications (ICASTIA) will be held on October 01-02, 2018 in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. This conference is hosted by Politeknik Negeri Samarinda in collaboration with Universitas Mulawarman and jointly organized by Universitas Negeri Malang and Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The conference aims to keep abreast of the current development and innovation in the area of Science in Technology as well as providing an engaging platform for participants to share knowledge and expertise in related disciplines. The theme for this conference is "Green Technology in Industry 4.0"

Submited papers must be prepared using the Springer's Guidelines for proceedings authors.
Afterwards it will be reviewed by minimum three external reviewers for acceptance decision. All Accepted Paper will be published in LNEE - Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering by Springer Link Publication *(Awaiting Confirmation).

How To Submit

  • The Paper Should be written in English
  • View the theme and scope topics
  • The length of submitted paper is at least 12 pages and no more than 15 pages in A4 Paper size
  • The paper format is as follows:
  • 1. Paragraph: Single column, single spacing.
    2. Font: Times New Roman 12.
    3. References: Any styles are allowed but must be formatted using any reference management tool e.g. Mendeley, Endnote, Zotero.

PASSPORT AND VISA

All travelers to Indonesia must be in possession of a Passport that is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival, and have proof (tickets) of onward or return passage

Free Tourist Visa

By Presidential Decree of 21 of 2016 dated on 2 March 2016 on Visa Free, replacing Presidential Regulation Number 104/2015 on Amendments to Presidential Regulation Number 69/2015 on Visa Free, Indonesia now provides special Short Stay Visa Free facilities for tourists who are nationals of a total 169 countries who wish to travel to Indonesia.

Tourist Visa Free Facilities are valid for 30 days, are non-extendable and cannot be transferred into any other type of of stay permit.

The visa exemption facility can be used for tourism, family visit, social visit, art and cultural, government duty, to deliver a speech or attend a seminar, international exhibition,meetings with head office or representative office in Indonesia, or transit.
